The project
The Digital Delacroix project, led by Barthélémy Jobert, aims to deepen the understanding of Eugène Delacroix's work by using artificial intelligence, 3D visualization, and physico-chemical analyses.
This multidisciplinary initiative, involving various laboratories from Sorbonne University, aims to develop new tools for analyzing and exploring the master's work.
The project relies on a vast digital corpus including the writings, paintings, drawings, and prints of Delacroix, as well as data collected during the recent restoration of the National Assembly's library.
This program receives significant support from Schmidt Sciences Humanities and AI Virtual Institute (HAVI).
Partners
Around SCAI and the André-Chastel Center, several partners have come together, each bringing their specific skills and areas of excellence to the joint realization of the different aspects of digital Delacroix.
